To better serve our clients we offer transportation of our products with our own private carrier. Common carriers also have access to our loading dock facility on-site.

Who We Are

Albert Lea Electro Plating is a 45,000-square-foot metal finishing facility that has been serving industry needs since 1946.
Originally focused on copper, zinc, and chrome plating for locally produced home space heaters and milking machines, our capabilities have since expanded. Today, we offer a wide range of manual, automatic, and barrel plating equipment to process a diverse array of metal products.

Incorporated in 1972, ALEP continues to provide high-quality finishes under second-generation family ownership.

Environmentally Friendly

Our waste treatment capabilities exceed all current EPA standards. We have received multiple awards from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for outstanding efforts in pollution prevention. Notably, we were the first recipient of an award from the Regulatory Compliance Section for Outstanding Achievement in Hazardous Waste Management and Pollution Prevention.
